About the Role
We are looking to add a Systems Engineer to our information technology team. The candidate will work at our office in Winnipeg, however there are times where travel to a customer's office may be necessary to perform their duties.
As a Systems Engineer, you are part of our service delivery team. This includes:
Working closely with your co-workers to ensure service delivery
Having continuous dialogue with clients
Provide IT support by telephone, remote support tools, remote management tools, and more Job purpose and role
Provide Tier 3 level support for our help desk, provide guidance and mentorship to solution team
Ongoing standardization of service delivery model and managed services practice
Architecting secure Microsoft cloud solutions and on-premise builds
Managing service onboarding projects
Building process documentation and standard operating procedures
Assessing and prioritizing support requests, scheduling resources
Resolving IT challenges, answering service desk calls and working on service requests
Travelling to client sites
Sharing all tasks (Team focus)
Additional responsibilities: exploring solutions, attending training sessions, obtaining certifications, reviewing internal systems, providing feedback, working as a collective to improve process.
Microsoft Fundamentals or Associate level certifications
5+ years industry related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French language skills are desirable.
Graduated from a Certified IT/Technical Training Program.
A criminal background check will be needed.
